Christmas Gifts For Adults
I have previously written a blog about the lovely Christmas that Arm in Arm gave our children. However this blog is about 2 other organisations that enabled us to give joy at Christmas to many adults too.
Little Starfish Charity Pamper Hampers Algarve.
Some of our families have had a terrible year. It might have been for health reasons, loss of families or other difficulties and bad luck.
We were able to gift them one of the spectacular pamper hampers that are created by Little Starfish.
Throughout the year Maggie & Justin Haywood, who are the masterminds behind this idea, have collected lots of beauty and comfort products.
Items were selected according to each individual recipients needs. These goods were presented in an open gift box, wrapped in cellophane and tied with ribbons.
They have been able to create these because of the generous donations of products that they have received from across the Algarve.

Castle of Dreams
For the last 19 Christmases Castelo de Sonhos have organised their Christmas Shoe Boxes campaign. The shoe boxes are created by individuals across the Algarve and donated to the charity to distribute. We were lucky enough to receive one for each of elderly among our families.
