Evening Events

Most of our fundraising activities are held in the daytime, however we do have a few regular evening events.

In Tunes

On the first and third Monday of every month, Phil Allen runs a quiz night at Between the Lines Bar in Tunes. It is a general knowledge British quiz consisting of 4 rounds and a picture and puzzle round.

The atmosphere is friendly, snacks and drinks are available throughout the evening but you can also come earlier and eat a meal first as some of our quizzers do.

We suggest you contribute 2€ to take part in the quiz although a larger donation is very welcome. The winning team wins a bottle of wine and there are chocolates as consolation prizes throughout the evening.

Come as a team or come on your own and you will be invited to join with other people.

It’s a fun night that stimulates the brain cells as you dig out the information from the back of your brain.

In Paderne

On the second and fourth Tuesday of the month we hold a similar type of evening  at Cafe Central in Paderne. They make amazing burgers which I highly recommend.
