Christmas for the kids

Arm in Arm Charity have made an amazing difference to Christmas 2023 to our families. Their generosity is astounding.

Amazingly, the Arm in Arm Team are in direct contact with Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and the elves and so our secret meetings began in late October. We worked out a convenient date with him and later sent him a list of the …. children we wanted him to meet, no naughty ones, all nice 😀

On 18th December Santa brought presents for all our children who are 15 years old and younger. The children were invited to a party at Between the Lines Bar in Tunes to personally collect their presents from ‘The Man Himself’.

On 21st December at Between the Lines Bar, we held an event for the adults to collect presents (not from Santa) and their special Christmas food bag. Again Arm in Arm made a huge contribution. They gave us a very generous 600€ donation that paid for most of the food that went into the 27  Christmas bags. Their wonderful donation paid for coffee, cheese, sausage, olives, salmon pate, oil, biscuits, small cakes, jam and a traditional Christmas cake, Bolo Rai in every bag.

We were only able to give a lot of goodies to our families this Christmas because of networking with other charities and as you can see, a lot of gratitude goes to Arm in Arm Charity.
